We take a full copy of the site — files, database, uploads, plugins, themes — and rebuild it on our servers. Nothing changes on your live site while this happens, and it keeps serving from your old host exactly as it did before.
The copy runs on a private address first. We walk the pages that matter — the homepage, contact form, and on a store the catalogue, cart and checkout — and fix anything the move disturbed. Most sites need nothing; older ones sometimes need a plugin updated to work on a current PHP version.
You get the private link and check it yourself. This is the point to say “the fonts look wrong” or “that form goes to the wrong inbox”, and nothing is switched over until you are happy.
One DNS change points your domain at the new copy. Both copies are live and identical through the changeover, so visitors reach a working site whichever one they land on — that is what “no downtime” actually means. SSL is issued and renewing before the switch, so no one meets a certificate warning.
