Managed WordPress hosting

Managed WordPress hosting, and what that actually means.

Plenty of hosts call themselves managed. Here is the specific list of work that stops being yours when you move to us — and the list of what we will not do, so you can tell whether this is the right shop before you talk to anyone.

Where the work goes

The same jobs exist either way. The question is whose they are.

Nothing here is a feature in the brochure sense. It is the work a WordPress site needs every month whether or not anyone is doing it.

What is included

Every plan, not just the expensive one.

The tiers scale capacity — visits, storage, bandwidth. They do not scale how well the site is looked after. Each of these has a page of its own if you want the detail.

Questions worth asking any host.

What does “managed” actually include?
Updates applied and checked, nightly encrypted backups with one-click restore, free SSL that renews, server-level caching and PHP tuning, security hardening, uptime checks every minute, and a weekly plain-English summary. The short version: the work that keeps a WordPress site healthy is ours, and the site itself is yours.
How is this different from the cheap hosting I have now?
On cheap shared hosting almost everything in the list above is your job, and the parts that are not are usually best-effort. The difference people notice first is speed, because server-level caching is not something you can install. The difference that matters more is that when something breaks you find out from us rather than from a customer.
What does it cost?
Solo is $25/month, Studio $35, and Growth $50 for busier sites. Every plan includes the same care — the tiers scale capacity, not how well we look after you. Annual billing is one month free.
Can you move my existing site?
Yes, free, and we do it for you. We take a full copy, stand it up on our servers, let you check it on a private link, and only then point the domain across — both copies are live and identical through the changeover, so nobody meets a broken site. Most moves finish inside a day.
Do you host stores?
Yes. WooCommerce runs well on our stack, hourly backups are available for stores that cannot lose an order, and the buying path itself is monitored — catalogue, cart, whether a payment method is still being offered, and the checkout page.
Who is this NOT for?
If you want root on the box, or you are running something that is not WordPress, we are the wrong shop and will say so on the first call. The same goes if your site genuinely does not matter to your business — the honest answer there is that cheap hosting is fine and you should keep your money.
Do I have to be technical?
No. That is most of the point. You get a weekly summary written for a business owner, and a person to talk to when you would rather ask than read.

Move your site off cheap hosting.

Free migration, no downtime, usually within a day. If we think you are better off where you are, we will tell you that instead.
