Privacy Policy

Effective May 27, 2026 · Last updated May 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Site Schema, LLC (“Site Schema,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data in connection with our websites at https://www.siteschema.ai, https://app.siteschema.com, and https://docs.siteschema.ai, and the services we provide through them (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

If you have questions, contact us at privacy@siteschema.com.

1. Personal Data We Collect

We collect personal data in the following ways:

Information you provide directly. When you create an account, contact us, subscribe, or transact with us, we collect information such as your name, email address, username, mailing address, billing information, and any other information you choose to provide. We collect this information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of your interaction with us.

Mobile phone number and SMS opt-in data, if you choose to receive text messages from us. See Section 3 (“Text Messages and Mobile Information”) for details.

Information collected automatically. When you visit or use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information including your IP address, browser type and version, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, operating system, date and time stamps, and clickstream data.

Cookies and analytics. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services and to measure and improve our website. For analytics we use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and collects information such as your IP address, device and browser, and the pages you view, in pseudonymous form. We use this only to understand and improve how visitors use the Services, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time through our cookie preferences, by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser, or with Google’s opt-out tools; you can also control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect your experience.

Information our customers collect through the Services. When Site Schema customers use the Services to operate websites or applications, those customers may collect personal information from their own end users. Our customers control that information; this Privacy Policy does not govern it. Where a customer enables analytics for a Customer Site, Site Schema may provision Google Analytics on that site and aggregate metrics across the sites that customer manages to power their dashboard; the customer is the controller of their end users’ data and is responsible for providing the required notice and consent, and Site Schema processes that data on the customer’s behalf.

2. How We Use Personal Data

We use personal data to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services;
  • create and manage your account and authenticate Users;
  • process transactions and send related information, including confirmations, invoices, and receipts;
  • send administrative information, such as updates to our terms, conditions, and policies;
  • respond to inquiries and provide customer support;
  • send marketing communications consistent with your preferences and applicable law;
  • monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with the Services;
  • detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our terms; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

3. Text Messages and Mobile Information

If you provide us with a mobile phone number and opt in to receive text (SMS) messages from Site Schema, we may send you transactional messages (such as account, security, billing, support, and service-status notifications) and, if you have separately consented, operational or promotional messages related to your use of the Services.

Consent. By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages at the number you provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; you can request help by replying HELP. Opting out of one message category may not opt you out of all categories — for example, you may continue to receive transactional security alerts even after opting out of marketing messages, where permitted by law.

Information we collect in connection with mobile messaging. We collect the mobile phone number you provide, the date and time of your opt-in, the keyword or web form through which you opted in, your opt-in source, your message preferences, your delivery and engagement metadata (delivered, failed, replied), and your opt-out status.

How mobile information is shared. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support of the messaging service (for example, our SMS aggregator and messaging platform provider) is permitted.

Retention. We retain mobile opt-in records (including the consent record itself) for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to demonstrate compliance with applicable telecommunications and consumer-protection laws.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Disclosure to Third Parties

We may disclose personal data:

  • To service providers. We share personal data with vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf — such as hosting, infrastructure, payment processing, analytics, customer support, email delivery, and SMS aggregation — under contractual obligations of confidentiality and limited use.
  • For legal reasons. We may disclose personal data when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or is necessary to enforce our terms, protect the rights, property, or safety of Site Schema, our users, or others.
  • In connection with a corporate transaction. If Site Schema is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

We remain responsible for compliance with this Privacy Policy by the third parties to whom we disclose personal data.

Mobile information and SMS opt-in data are subject to the additional restrictions described in Section 3. Notwithstanding anything in this section, mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Procedures to Protect Personal Data

We maintain commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When personal data is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it, except where we are required to retain it by law.

7. Your Rights over Personal Data

Depending on where you live, you may have rights with respect to your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict our processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@siteschema.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within the time period required by applicable law.

8. International Data Transfers

Site Schema is based in the United States and processes personal data in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your personal data may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions whose data-protection laws may differ from those of your country.

Where required by applicable law (including the EU GDPR or UK GDPR), we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms — such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved safeguards — to protect personal data transferred from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. To request a copy of the safeguards we use, contact privacy@siteschema.com.

9. California Residents

This section applies to residents of California and is provided to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”).

Categories of personal information collected. In the past twelve (12) months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 1, including identifiers, commercial information, internet or other electronic network activity information, and (where you have opted in) mobile telephone numbers and related SMS metadata.

Categories disclosed for a business purpose. In the past twelve (12) months, we have disclosed each of those categories to our third-party service providers subject to a written contract requiring confidentiality and limited use, for the business purposes described in Section 2.

No sale of personal information. We do not and will not sell your personal information. We do not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under the CCPA.

Your rights. California residents have the right to (a) know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and (if applicable) sell or share; (b) request deletion of personal information; (c) request correction of inaccurate personal information; (d) opt out of any sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising (not applicable, as we do not engage in either); and (e) not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise your CCPA rights, contact privacy@siteschema.com. We will verify your identity before responding. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to verification.

10. Age Requirement

The Services are intended for users 18 and older and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided personal information to us, contact privacy@siteschema.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy and, where required by law or appropriate under the circumstances, provide additional notice (such as by email or in-product notice). Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.
